Family Team Pricing & Examples

Our family team can provide Legal Aid services to those who are eligible, which may mean that you do not have to pay anything towards the costs involved. Depending on the circumstances you may also be asked to make a small contribution towards your legal fees, or the Legal Aid Agency may agree to pay some, but not all, of the fees involved. We offer comprehensive advice in respect to your eligibility which is always tailored to your specific circumstances.

In the event that legal aid is not available to you we will charge for the time involved based on the following hourly rates:

- Partners & Senior Solicitors £272 per hour (£326.40 inc VAT)

- Solicitor £233 per hour (£279.60 inc VAT)

- Paralegal £189 per hour (226.80 inc VAT)

Our fees include:

- Taking instructions and complying with our client due diligence requirements.

- Advising and representing where necessary in court proceedings through to concluding all matters.

Typical disbursements:

- Divorce £593

- Children Act Proceedings; Contact (spend time with) £255

- Children Act Proceedings; Residence (live with) £255

- Financial Proceedings £303

- Consent Order Application (by consent) £58

Costs are billed on a monthly basis which allows you to keep track of all costs that have been incurred. Included with your account will be an itemised bill setting out all work that has been undertaken on your behalf.
