Paul is a ‘Solicitor Advocate’ with extensive experience in the conduct of criminal defence cases. The head of the firm’s Crime and Prison Law Department, he is at the forefront of the firms 24/7, 365 day ethos for the provision of Criminal Defence services.
A Duty Solicitor and specialist in serious crime, with a niche for homicide and drugs cases, Paul’s experience complements our Prison Law department in the submission of Criminal Appeals as well as applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission for those who are victims of miscarriages of justices.
Paul has developed the firm’s regulatory practice for private clients and companies as well as prosecution based work in regulatory crime.
Paul is HM Assistant Coroner for Newcastle upon Tyne as well as South Northumberland, North Tyneside and North Northumberland.
